Teachers

  • Maura Bellini

Naples born, improv citizen of the world, she turns every moment of life into spontaneous songs.

Suitcase always ready, looking for new bad ideas and wonderful mistakes all around the world, Maura has an untamed crush on Belgium.

  • Ana María Bragado Candía

After completing her drama degree in 2008, this actress wandered the streets of Madrid looking for scripts to bring to life. One day, she came across a school where everyone seemed to have a character without a script. Since then, she has continued participating in shows and workshops, committed to the struggle to make these characters act with greater truth and acting technique, without neglecting the freshness of improvising dramaturgy. If you're less credible than a child in the final year play, she can solve your problems.

  • Lauren Berning

Lauren is a California native who founded TBC Improv in 2009. She's been improvising for almost 30 years, and teaching it for just over 20. She lives and breathes improv and adores the supportive and collaborative nature it brings to interactions. Outside of improv, Lauren is highly dedicated to her puppy Isla, and her sourdough starter The Yeastie Boys. She can't wait to meet you!

  • Javier Pastor

In 2001, a man studying engineering was sent to an improvisation class for some truancy he'd committed. This guy escaped the science trap and dedicated himself to theater. Today, still wanted by telecommunications companies, he survives as an improv teacher and creator of mind-blowing formats. If you have a mental disorder and no one understands you, he could help, and you might be able to hire him.

  • David Kühling-Romero

David Kühling-Romero, born bilingual with a paradoxical contrast of cultures, Spanish-German, he likes to say, "when I am late, it is planned".

He brings a spring of energy and a great enthusiasm for object work, committed characters, and symbolism. He blames his secondary teacher, Nieves Orive, who ignited his love for theatre by having him follow an imaginary butterfly across the stage multiple times, until it was believable, during a rehearsal for La Zapatera Prodigiosa.

Caution: Do not give David an imaginary gun.

  • Pierpaolo Buzza

Big time Improv nerd with a passion for storytelling, dramedy, discovery, emotions, geeky Improv tools, villains, noir done well, pure and utter silliness, connections at all levels, and an active dislike for musicals. He spends most of his free time winning imaginary arguments in his head.
